Greenish colourless blown glass ampulla with a rim folded outwards, upwards and inwards, a cylindrical neck, an inverted triangular body, and a flattened base with no pontil mark.
Dove unguentarium
The thin glass unguentarium in the shape of a dove is a container for perfumes, ointments and balms. To consume the contents it was necessary to break the tail: this specimen is the only one still sealed that is known, and it is half full by a limpid liquid.
Glass perfume-flask
Core-formed perfume-flask of blue and white glass, with a separate stopper pierced for sprinkling. The rim and neck have been cut and ground; the body polished.
Unguent spoon
Cast glass unguent-spoon with a twisted stem; the end is missing.
Bronze strigils
Bronze strigils decorated with scenes of chariot-racing in the Roman circus. The strigil is pierced for carrying on a ring. The decoration is punched and inlaid with silver.
